OneConnect at IDC Asian Financial Service Congress 2020
On the 16th edition of IDC Asian Financial Service Congress (AFSC), our CEO (SEA) Tan Bin Ru delivered a thought leadership keynote on “Building the Digital Bank for the New Age of Finance” and also spoke on the panel for “What makes a successful digital bank – surviving, thriving and innovating”.
COVID-19 has accelerated digital adoption and is set to continue post-pandemic. She opined that banks need to keep innovating at the edge and be robust at the core and that the end-to-end user experience and ecosystem strategies are the key. She also reiterated that digitalization is a long journey that keeps iterating along the way and that digitization must be 360 and not just at the fringe.
